This policy explains what Hinge AI collects, why it is kept and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
Three things: the messages you write in a conversation, the small amount of account information needed to keep that conversation available to you, and aggregate usage figures such as page views and error counts.
Why we keep it
Conversation text is stored so a companion can stay coherent across sessions and remember what you have already told her. Account information exists so that only you can reach your threads. Usage figures tell us which pages are failing and which companions people are looking for.
What we do not do
We do not sell your conversations. We do not use them to build advertising profiles, and we do not publish them anywhere on this site.
How long it stays
Conversation history remains until you delete it or ask us to close your account, after which it is removed from live systems and drops out of backups on the normal rotation. Aggregate figures are kept without anything that identifies an individual.
Cookies
We use the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences, plus privacy-respecting analytics. There are no advertising trackers on this website.
Your choices
You can request a copy of your data, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion. Write through the contact page and we will confirm the action in writing.
Children
Hinge AI is for adults aged eighteen and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger, and we remove such data if we learn of it.
